(Ordinance 92-22) All individuals and companies acquiring a Boardwalk Vehicular Permit are required to be covered by a policy or policies of liability insurance covering these individuals and companies, including their agents and employees. The following coverages are the minimal liability permitted under this section: General Liability Amount of Coverage (per occurrence) Bodily Injury (per person) $100,000 Bodily Injury (aggregate) $300,000 Property Damage $50,000 Automobile Liability Amount of Coverage (per occurrence) Bodily Injury (per person) $100,000 Bodily Injury (aggregate) $300,000 Property Damage $50,000 Class of Permits: Boardwalk Vehicular will be divided into the following classes: Annual Permits -- issued to those applicants requiring repetitive or year-around access to the Boardwalk. Temporary Permit -- issued to those applicants requiring Boardwalk access ranging from one trip to a seasonal needs ($50.00 deposit required in additional to fee); Special Events Permits -- issued to those applicants having permission from the City to conduct a special events on the Boardwalk. Weight Limitations: The following weight classifications are established to provide for vehicular and pedestrian safety, and to identify overweight vehicles that may safely use the Boardwalk but will cause greater wear and tear of structural members and fastenings. If used, the planing must be a minimum of 2" thick. Any proposed increase of weight limitations must be accompanied by an individual structural analysis and forwarded to the City Engineer for review and approval. Permit Fees: The following fee schedule shall apply to all permits issued under the Ordinance with the exception of vehicles owned and operated by the City of Atlantic City.
